We were very blessed in that First Baptist of Greater Toledo allowed us to set up for the wedding a week in advance.  Normally, FBC prepares for Christmas the Sunday afternoon after Thanksgiving.  Since our wedding took place the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the "Hanging of the Greens" took place one week early.  On Sunday afternoon, November 23, 2003, First Baptist was crawling with dozens of people hanging decorations, erecting Christmas trees, stringing garland, setting up the sound system and more.  We owe a special debt of gratitude to Sharon Andersen for allowing us to make the schedule change and coordinating the sanctuary decorations.
